SESSION ON ADAPTABLE SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURES (ASA)
at
THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOFTWARE ENGINEERING RESEARCH AND PRACTICE
(SERP)
June 24-27, 2002, Monte Carlo Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
THEME
=====
You are invited to participate in the session on Adaptable Software
Architectures to be held as part of the International Conference on
Software Engineering Research and Practice (SERP '02), June 24-27,
2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. SERP '02 is part of the 2002
International MultiConference in Computer Science.
SESSION
=======
The session on Adaptable Software Architectures (ASA) will provide an
international forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange
ideas and discuss the problems in this emerging field.
In today's fast changing environment, the adaptability of the
software architecture is a key determinant to the success of just
about any software system. In this session the theory and experience
on ASA will be discussed. The topics for the papers include:
adaptable software systems/software architectures, evolvable software
architectures, traceability of architectures to requirements, metrics
for software adaptability, goal-oriented approaches to ASA
development, process for developing adaptable software, and case
studies.
PAPERS
======
Two types of papers are invited:
- short paper: 1-4 pages, position paper or work-in-progress
- full paper: 5-7 pages, research results or experience
All papers should be in the IEEE format. All papers will be
peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in the conference
proceedings. Please send the papers with the subject "ASA" to one of
the session co-chairs:
